Crowd UP 20% !!!

Well 19.33% actually, but who's arguing?

For our EIGTH League game last night (v Plymouth) the crowd was a superb 6,431, compared to LAST season's Eigth game of 5,389 !!

Alright, so Argyle brought a fair number of fans (still money in OUR coffers though!) but it should be remembered that the BEES BABES have drawn them in the first place!

These figures CONFOUND all this year's predictions on which the financial forcasts were based, so WELL DONE EVERYONE, keep it going, the BEES BABES really are going from STRENGTH to STRENGTH!

BUMPER BEES crowd on Sat. v Blackpool !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Crowd UP 20% !!!

Blackpool always bring a fair few down as well.

They have probably bought that many ticket's already to allow for that bloody great big flag that they brought last season. That would accomadate a couple of hundred terrace spaces.

:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Come on you Bees.

I'm sure it hasn't escaped your notice but this Saturday's game is a DIRECT COMPARABLE to last season in that it is the same opposition and is the 9th home league game. Last season the attendence was 7605.

What's your target for the Noizy Boyz and the Bees Babes? We need the biggest attendence of the season so far to beat that. Last season we came into the game after a six game undefeated league run.

Let's all help smiffy!

Yeah Banana, I had noticed!
I'll settle right now for 7606!!!!!!!!!!

I think the reason last year for the abnormally high gate (previous matches were in the 5,000's) woz that the week before 3000+ Bees fans went to Reading & witnessed a great result which kept us top. So the following week everyone woz rather euphoric and managed to get away from the housework!

Realistically anything over 6,000 would be extremely good as OVERALL this season the crowd is well up and we may lose the odd battle but we'll cewrtainly win the WAR!

On the money side of things do YOU think that a figure of £7 per head OVERALL on the gate is TOO HIGH?

'Coz I'm about too post here soon (Limbo!) to get an idea of wot everyone thinks is the LOWEST figure per head we can agree on to get a good idea of the projected gate receipts for THIS season.

I HONESTLY feel that £9 is about right!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please see this well-reasoned post by Isleworth Bee. It's the nearest to sense I've seen posted on the subject.

Here we all go again.

Accepting IB's numbers then, should one dare to presume that with an average gate of 6000 plus the 'Boro and Wycombe Cup incombe we'd be at the magic "like to do" number of £1m? Getting to the second round minimally of the FA Cup wouldn't be a bad thing.

I can't resist adding (can I)...that I think Ron's £6.28 for the first 4500 seems a bit hard to believe. The kids season tickets bring the number down a bit, and this is good business too as kids passionate about the Bees is desperately important. And yes, the season ticket is less per ticket than paying as you go, BUT that money is in the accountants books in August and collecting interest all season (or paying down interest payments that would otherwise accrue) making the actual income much closer to the full price on the door.

£7 per head = £1million+!!!

Thanx u guys in trying to put some reality to the gate money for THIS Season!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The ludicrously LOW figure of £7, yes £7 !!!! per head is STILL over £1million!

Total gate LAST Season for 1st 9games (8L+1WC) was 52,089.
(and this includes a FREEBEE gate of over 10K)

THIS Season = 56,663, an AVERAGE of 6,295

So 6295 x 24 x £7 = ........................Oh!, I'm getting tired of arguing with RON'S figures!!

Someone just said that "Even that's OVER £1,000,000"........i dunno' is it?

BIG effort lads to get EVERYONE there on Saturday v Blackpool !!

At least 5,500 NB's ?

also blackpool was the next home game after the freebie game so was unusually high for that fixture.i would be happy with anything over 6000 assuming that blackpool bring a 1000.should be looking at 6500 ish though hopefully
