Owlsmoor,

Your sentiments are admirable & I 100% concur that we should support the team on match days to the bitter end & B@muff was certainly a good example of that.

However realism is necessary & it's been pretty obvious all season that the team/squad & management has not been good enough, & I think it's reasonable on an internet site to talk about the deficiencies - a la West Wilts Bee - & not get heavily criticised for it.

Frankly if in July the board had put together a plan to get the club relegated they couldn't have done a better job. I suggested - tongue in cheek admittedly - to someone on Saturday, that our results wouldn't have been much worse if we'd not bothered to appoint a manager & coach & just let KOC & AF do the 'coaching' for a few £k extra. Would probably have saved us several hundred £k and would we have been any worse off on the field??

Thanks for that KGB, I can take anything thats thrown at me. What I will not forget is the pompous gits that dished it out, just because it was not what they wanted to hear. But I hope most people on here can now see what I was getting at. Anyway back to topic, lets get behind the team bigtime on sat.

we do really need to win the game, if we win it we will have one 2 out of 4 games.

COME ON YOU BEES

despite all I said in the `turn off the lights thread`, I will be there on Saturday. This is my club. I love supporting this club, despite all the heartache. If you wear a Bees shirt, anywhere in the world a fellow Bee will shake your hand.

But, even if we win, relegation looks like it is coming.
I live in hope, I always do. Another end of season dog fight like the `great escape`, would turn this into an exciting season. At least all remaining games mean something.

Come On You Bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb!

the question is do a bring my boyfriend to his first Brentford match on Saturday, knowing i will throughly depressed if we get anything more than a win.

Dont.

Boyfreinds/Girlfreinds and Brentford dont mix. Had to carry mine home, and she kept on going on about how Chelsea is so much better :nono:

Thanks everybody for keeping the faith with the support for Saturday.

What can we do to raise the atmosphere - We do not want to rely on Uncle Peter before kick off

Whos up for 3 sides of the ground raising the roof prior to kick off as the boys come out ?

Bring him along. I can't believe the lack of optimism about the Leyton Orient game. We were, by all accounts, thoroughly unlucky on Saturday, and I expect a striker to be signed by the end of the week. I can't see anything other than a Brentford win (it's not as if Orient are world beaters, is it?).

I vote everyone packs out new road. Standing room only.

I however, will be making a very dodgy "staying up" banner out of a old bed sheet and attaching it to the back of new road :)

keep the 'gloryhunters' away and like the chesterfield game, the 4,500 left is all you need;) :sorted:

I think i may just ask him if he would like to come along, and see what he says, while pointing out that it is a very important game...so im guessing he will end up waiting a while longer for his debut..and he knows that football is my thing and is not going to intrude.

Until we're down mathematically there's still a chance in this league, but if you look at it in terms of likelihood I don't think 3pts is going to suddenly give us a fighting chance of staying up.

I really hope I'm wrong though

Fair point but a win against a fellow basement side like O's would give the fans a boost as well as the team. Then who knows over next few games. PMA, PMA as someone once said...

A burglary was recently committed at Brisbane Road and the entire contents of the trophy room were stolen. The police are looking for a man with floorboards and nails covered in cobwebs!
