Just heard an enlightning interview on 5 Live with Darlington.

They are giving out DVD's free that contain some targets that they have agreed to, so that the board can be shot at if they aren't achieved!

Also, they LISTENED to the fans, supporters trust and supporters club to come up with the targets to achieve.


He said that on their badge it says 'the friendly club' but then said that they haven't been, and have renaged on many promises in the past!

He then said that they couldn't serve 1000 people at half time with refreshments which is not acceptable.

How refreshing!!

I was staying with friends earlier this year near to Darlington and went to watch them play v Chester.

Putting aside the football, whcih made Brentford look Brazilian by comparison, the stadium (relatively) was amazing. 25,000 all seater wth good facilities , i.e. clean toilets and sky tv on the televisions which were situated by the bars/ pie stalls (which ran out etc).
