It is the fact that he had agreed to play for us but he wanted to finish uni first. We had set him up somewhere else so he could play semi pro while he finished his studies. A few weeks later his studies were not quite as important to him and signed for Spurs.

dunno if i should open a new subject for this, but i went to qpr v celtic and the r's didnt look that bad. They had a couple of trialists that day from west ham and somewhere else who looked good-a defender and midfielder. was a bit worried about our match with them actually...

pre season form is a notoriously bad indicator of how teams will perform in the real thing! Hence we will not draw 0-0 at all this season, honest guv!!

Apparently Terrell Forbes, a free from West Ham (Left Back?) was outstanding for QPHa that game. Luckily that isn't a position we need to fill (fingers crossed re injuries!).
