Spoke with him at the GPG Legends game. - He was not happy at Crawley and wanted away - Nice guy so pleased he got his move.

Best of luck to him. A really nice fella. Spent the second half chatting to him too at the legends game. Wasn't happy, new regime at Crawley, in his last year of contract, getting to an age where managers start looking at younger players - than a 29,30,31 year old player - worried about his next contract. Hope it's a two year deal?!

Also looking at building up some Football academies after his career too.

Will always have time for him. So will my shadow!

Really nice guy. Like other posts, spoke to David recently and said he wasnt getting game time since the new Manager came in. Happy he has left amicably and is on his way to Oxford.

David Hunt wasn't a World beater but he was a genuine, decent player with a phenomenal throw who also related to fans.
He achieved respect beyond his footballing feats because fans related to him and we all felt he knew how important our club was to us.

Personally I love the geezer but no good reason why

He's just a very decent chap. A good guy, who'll do well for the fake Bees.

Yes I would think so. His loan finished with them yesterday, so I would think thats the most likely option. It also means the deal doesn't need to be completed today, given himself time to sort out the deal.

Always thought he was quite good with a set piece. Scored a cracker vs Wycombe and his corners were better than the current nonsense

Went and watched Hunty play on Saturday. He didn't have a particularly good game, but then Maidenhead didn't really play well.

However, Tyrell Miller-Rodney from the development squad, played and he had a really good game. Looks to be a good prospect for us.

He kind of struggled to get a regular game with us too. He had a great free kick on him but was just a tad slow to be honest.

Was it Wycombe or Gillingham, I can hardly remember it seems a long time ago.

His supposed long-throw-ins were totally ineffective, he just lofted the ball high into the penalty area.

He took some good footage of the dressing room promotion celebrations after the Darlington game, though!
