Everyone's been crying out to get some experience in to the squad.

Well, Reeves would certainly bring that...a lifetime's experience!!

Let's hope one of the other four is:
a) younger
b) with experience!!

i feel his experience will bring peters into play,isee his role as ten goal a year striker with peters getting a bagful from his knockdowns{if he signs].

A really good potential short term signing. Great in the air, good finisher and could act a sa teacher to the kids.


Strange that he would be prepared to move to London at his age and for our wages particularly as at his age he could well have kids at school.

north london bee makes a valid point that was my first thought on hearing of our interest in reeves. namely, given our wage structure and assuming
he has a family, how would he possibly be able to afford to live in west london?

I would be fairly surprised if Reeves came to us.

As NLB pointed out I don't think he could afford to come and play for us.

With a family and the likelihood he'll have to move house I would have thought it was a strange move, unless we can offer him more than Chesterfield.

As a player it might be a decent signing. He is very experienced and has always scored goals, he could be exactly the sort of player we need to link with Peters and bring the midfield into the game.

I think we could get better but he's not a bad player IMHO, although he might only half half a seasons legs left.
