We are dreadful at set pieces and general delivery into the box from out wide. I often wonder how a professional footballer can fail to beat the first defender from a dead ball situation. If you provide good service into the box, goals will be scored either as a direct result or as a consequence of the cross, you only have to watch Football League Review to see how many goals are scored from this kind of service however we seem to find it hard. What was it, 9 corners and 5 free kicks in dangerous positions during the first half against Bristol City, did we thereaten, I don't think so. Meanwhile they lob a good ball in and score, same for their 3rd goal.
And yes, the long throw, in order to do this well, you need someone that can throw long and try not to do it everytime so that by the 4th time you try it the opposition has sussed it out, how about mixing it up a bit
Apart from that I'm well chuffed with the start to the season
