How about a return to Non League football.

Let's say Leyton Orient?

I reckon he might go to Maidenhead.

Good luck in you retirement Wellsy.

I guess we'll see him more at GP?

hello ken :helloken: :ken:

32 years old and his career is over. Perfectly obvious why players just have to follow the money whilst they can. Wish you well Dean.

I think he sort of demonstrates the opposite. Released by us after one appearance at 18, to keep plugging away in non-league for a decade to come back into the league at 28 and get three seasons, he’s had a much longer career than most players released by a third tier club in their teens. That sort of perseverance will hopefully hold him in good stead for life after playing. Good luck to him.

Good luck Dean, my sons mate plays left back for them so I’m often down there watching them when the Bees aren’t playing, good set up and I recommend any local Bees fans to pop down, good standard of football, Jersey Bulls are the stand out team in the division, they have been playing all their games away from home as no other team in the league can afford the travel costs of flying over and have only managed to play four league games this season due to Covid and the travel restrictions.

Dean Wells

I thought teams from jersey and Guernsey etc had to pay for the travel costs for the opposition themselves?

Dean Wells

Doubt he will be arranging a PSF with Orient.

Saw on Twitter that the Bedfont & Feltham manager who brought Dean in as his assistant has left. Wonder if he will stay on or leave too, or perhdps even fancy the job himself?
