Defending corners.

Sorry geeks, i do try to keep out of your territory, but this issue is getting on my nerves now. Why the hell do we withdraw all 11 players into our own penalty area when we concede a corner?

Surely we should leave at least 2 up by the half way line so we've got an 'out' ball and this gives us a better chance of hitting teams on the break.

Spot on. As soon as ball comes out, we are just inviting more pressure and panic on ourselves with no outlet.

Wouldn't be so bad if defending corners and set play in multi numbers helped us keep out goals. All players back should mean not a single player can be unmarked. Now how many goals have we conceded from corners and wide set play?!! :sad:
