Dissertation

I am a 3rd year university student who is doing their dissertation. If you have some spare time it would be greatly apprieciated if you completed the following survey. Qualtrics Survey | Qualtrics Experience Management
Just to echo others, happy to help but I strongly suggest that you run this question set past your supervisor. You will struggle to get any qualitative data from the results.

Are you someone who likes the fashion side of the club and do you purchase new releases when they are available?

Is this a Yes/No question?

Aside from the quality of the questionnaire, I too am also unsure what conclusions can be drawn from the data you will collect. There aren't enough questions on a specific theme that would inform a definitive hypothesis. Not sure what the relevance, for instance, of asking about meeting the players as a stand alone question?

Just how many University dissertations are concerned with football. This must be the fifth in the last couple of years that has cropped up on the GPG. Is this really the best academic use of your time? However, I shall endeavour to answer the questions to the best of my ability in support.

Dissertation

There were two questions that couldn't be answered with either yes or no, one of which was contradictory.

Could be an IT project on how easy it is to entice people to click on an unknown hyperlink?

Going by the comments, this is clearly a cyber security student doing a dissertation on phishing techniques and how old folk are susceptible to clicking random links from absolute strangers 🤓

*Edit, and on how old folk fail to notice the post above their own 🤭😅

I don't believe the aim is to add anything useful to the overall debate - I doubt it will be published unless it is part of a PHD. The aim is more likely to be to give students experience of collecting, collating and writing up the findings so in that respect (learning) it is certainly the best use of time.

As others have mentioned though, I do think a little more thought was needed for this one and I struggle to determine what the research question might be.

Hopefully one of the learning points for the original poster is to better explain and signpost links to surveys. I didn't open it because;

a) I have no idea what Qualtrics is and am certainly not informed enough to fill in a survey about it (I assumed that's what a 'qualtrics survey' meant); and

b) I'm not going to click on an unexpected and unexplained link even here on the apparent safety of the GPG.

25 years almost to the day I registered on the GPG in the University computer room…… I can safely say my supervisor would have ripped me and anyone else on the course if they came up with that set of questions. Appreciate sometimes you have to throw a false flag into the data collection so you can waste 1000 words telling them you realise your error, how it messed the result and you changed tack as a result with how you collected data. Perhaps this is what’s going on here
