Check the reaction of the player who conceded it, does not make any attempt to dispute it.

It was the first time in 18 years that my reaction to a Brentford penalty wasn't :bound:
The expected set of responses![]()
In fairness I was perfectly situated to see the 'foul', in the BA stand. Charlie had the ball with no options and you could almost see him think 'let's take the ball in to that bunch of 3 defenders and fall over'. I saw what I saw, and it was a man falling over...not being tripped (and there's a difference)

If the teams were reversed and it was a Barnet player falling over like that, I would have been fuming. And so would you lot, you know it![]()

Owusu's dives were always quite amusingPersonally I'd prefer the Willock style dive of unintentionally falling over, much more entertaining and he could even claim the higher moral ground.
Reallyreally..... you don't go to many games then....Every GPGer can think of one within the last 2 seasons without any effort.....

Try Calum Willock with the airshot and Rankin vs Bradford tripping over his own feet that saw the player sent off as 2 pens given that weren't.The expected set of responses![]()

They were from the referee's incompetency, whereas this one I think was playacting. But I take your point.Try Calum Willock with the airshot and Rankin vs Bradford tripping over his own feet that saw the player sent off as 2 pens given that weren't.
Sorry, but that is completely wrong. Just seen replay again, and again, on sky sports. The player who gave away the foul immediately turned to the ref and made a diving motion with his arms.Check the reaction of the player who conceded it, does not make any attempt to dispute it.

and also got booked for diving too on at least one occassionRooney's dive against Arsenal, when Man Utd cheated to a 2-0 win to break the record in the pizzagate match was one of the best ever.Er, how about Ronaldo?

If it gets us three points I couldn't give two hoots.

I'm not saying we've never had a penalty decision that shouldn't have been, but it was the first time in 18 years that my reaction wasn't :bound:, probably purely because I was right behind him in a perfect position to see him let himself fall to the ground, whereas the others I assumed were legit at the time.Tabb got a couple.and also got booked for diving too on at least one occassion

Would you give two hoots if it got our player sent off for a second yellow in an important game?
Especially as it was a genuine goalscoring opportunityI didnt like seeing Charlie dive the other night.

Yeah that was the most annoying thing.
think he ran out of room for a clear chance to score
Wonder how many people would be saying that now if we'd been given a pen and had gone 2-0 up?

It looked like a stonewall penalty to me
