What odds on them getting promotion next season ?
They are buying very good players already and lots of them.

Hmm i wouldn't call any of the players they have bought very good. Horlock was quality in his day but i fear is he too old now, Lockwood didn't impress me and O'Connor was ok but not great. I wouldn't put my hard earned cash on them personally.

That is a quality signing for them, I've rated Roberts for years.
In terms of their promotion hopes, I thought they would of been right up there all year... but wern't probably the cup run, they have got a chance like all of us next season, but none of their signings so far have been out of this world and seem just too safe (like last season Heffernan and Thornton), decent for pushing for playoffs, but unless they make any more great signings I cant see em going nowhere ...

edit- just checked their site and he aint signed yet...

Wonder if they could be next season's Rotherham??

A lot of clubs are increasingly putting survival before success and those that gamble...well it tends to have a sticky end.

I remember thinking that Bristol City were going to walk this league when they signed Bridges and Stewart this time last year.

Dave Penney has left after 7 years in charge. Just shows that splashing the cash dont get you everything in this division. Mid table is now my prediction for them ...

Doncaster Rovers

they want Kevin Keegan to come to his home town. Still think they will make the play offs myself

He's stood down. Ryan's just been on SSN saying Terry Butcher is someone he would really be interested in!! You couldn't make it up.

Says all the right things, seems a nice enough bloke and did a really good job after the very dislikeable Saunders took a bigger, better job!

He did a sterling job with the Wales U21s as well, even with most of the best players going straight into the senior squad. Barring a miracle, Saunders will be managing in L1 next season.
