Interesting to hear that Matt Somner was no. 33 in the Bees squad up at Wigan. Official Site says that confirms JP Javary has indeed flown the nest. What is all this b***ocks? How come our official site has to use powers of deduction to work out whether a player is or isn't at brentford?

It is probably for legal reasons.
We say nothing about where he is or why he has gone and we don't get problems in return. If people find out why he's left he may have problem finding another club. This way we don't pay him too much and he leaves quietly, everyone wins (sort of!!)

Hopefully it was nowhere near that much upfront. At the time I think Ron was still trying to boast about how much he was spending, so it may have been a lot less, plus loads of appearance related money - like the Mac.

They were dancing in the streets of raith when we bought him - unfortunately he did nothing there, did nothing with us and will probably do even less at Plymouth, they should have had a look out on the Hoe!!

He didn't look bad in the litle that I saw of him. He just had no discipline whatsoever, once he had lashed out at a team mate he had to go. Did you see his record at Raith? It was something like played 10 9 yellow cards 1 red.

I thought he had a tremendous turn of pace and looked the bizzo in the tackle in his first 3-4 games. Was very lucky to stay on twice after being booked and then flying into another reckless tackle afterwards tho.
He lost fitness after his trip home to france.
Shame, cos the guy is obviously a talented player as barcelona saw.

Javary started well then went off while his wife had a baby...the only other game I saw him in was Brighton in the LDV and he was useless so good riddance
