I did notice the ref was completely happy as a military chopper hovered over the stadium for circa 10 minutes.

Re the helicopters circling above, there were/are demonstrations in and around Twickenham stadium by Amnesty International against the RFU/Twickenham stadium hosting and arms sale convention on Monday. Delagates from China, Israel, Saudi Arabia, UAE , Bahrain, etc will be in attendance. This has been kept very secret and not many people know about it.
