The one thing we all have in common, apart form our passion for Brentford, is access to computers and e-mail (unless you are reading this through some paranormal activity). Lets' put them to use to help save our club.
I have sent the following e-mail to every contact in my address book.
“As most of you know, I am an avid football fan.
Brentford, my local community team, are in serious financial difficulty.
We are not one of the ‘glamour’ clubs, but one that is at the heart of the local community.
Our current chairman is withdrawing his guarantee for our overdraft within the next month and, as losses of £4M have been accumulated, extinction is probable if a significant cash injection is not made in the short term.
The initial target is to raise £1M before 30th June 2002 in order that the club can continue to trade into next season and can continue its dialogue with potential investors and other interested parties.
Brentford Supporters have already been elected to the Brentford Board and have fought and won a successful campaign to have a fan elected as a councillor to Hounslow Council with whom we are discussing relocating from our current ground.
Please, if you or your company would like to help us preserve a tradition of football within this community, a tradition lasting over 100 years, then click on this link for more details.

Even if you are unable to support our cause directly, please forward this message to friends, colleagues and business contacts as the more publicity we gain the greater our chance of success.
Thanks for taking the time to read this e-mail”
Why not do the same to your own contacts (use the one above or compose your own) for the more publicity we gat the gretaer the chance we have.
Whatever you do, do it now.
