For those who do not see it 2 weeks ago it was going on about the surprise sacking of Wally and indicating this was wrong.
Last week they started a phone poll about what the fan think were they right to sack him or not.
This week the answer

50 votes !

58% saying the decision to sack was WRONG
42% "backing the HARSH" decision

Not seen the Gazette yet. A whole 50 votes! Cor, impressive.

Two ways of looking at this. Only 21 people bothered to vote in favour, which says, if anything, more about the crap Bees coverage than anything else. Would I read The Gazette to catch up on Bees 'news' - I don't think so.

More worryingly for Wally only 29 'anti' votes. That's less than the number he brought tickets for at the QPR game. Suggest he checks his Christmas card list very carefully

Even allowing for the unscientific nature of the poll, and that so few people bothered to vote, it's still amazing that it showed figures in favour of Wally. Before he was sacked, views would have been split, but with him gone, one draw under Thompson and 2 wins under Allen in 3 games make it hard to believe that the decision was wrong

I quite like the London Football Review (apart from it is subedited by the Gaurdian judging by the typos!). Very interesting interview with Ben May and also with Steve Sidwell saying how he loved his time at Brentford! Also compares Chelsea with Lazio's spending and Eriksson's lack of success at team building.

PS I dont dispute the coverage the Ealing Gazette gives QPR as to its readership base, rangers are just as 'local' as us, but what I do object to is the pages of Chelsea and Fulscum coverage.

I stopped reading the Gazette years ago, the sports coverage was pants, there is no real news in it, and the same old farts have been dominating the letters page for years. Bit like the GPG really..... There are plenty of ads for deep relaxing massages in the privacy of your own home, apparently these are very popular, I'm told, and remove all stiffness.
