Bees United is pleased to announce that following an election amongst our members, MARK CHAPMAN, TREVOR INNS and NATASHA JUDGE have been elected as Bees United Board Members for a period of three years until November 2009. We would like also to thank David Merritt for standing.

Thanks for the votes everyone and congratulations to the other candidates. If you're reading this shaggy, sorry you have missed out - but there's bound to be a resignation in the forthcoming 12 months if past experience is anything to go by :)

I've always found him a pretty intelligent bloke unlike the other rabble..

Me too, however I expect he'll be on the BU Board sooner rather than later.

However, anyone that isn't a member of Bees United can't complain can they :)

Obviously dissapointed at the result :( but thankyou to all those who voted for me.

I have a slightly different take on the problems facing BU than some of the other candidates, so its not surprising that I hope them every success in everything I agree with, and hope they are consistently outvoted on everything I disagree with!

Seriously, really hope BU focuses on what it exists to do - safeguard the future of our club. If it does that I'll be happy.

So.. third time lucky? Perhaps I ought to stand for parliament...

as banana has commented already, there will be a space coming up sooner rather than later! once Mr Inns is on the board and Mr Chapman and Mrs (?) Judge...................... i hope things do come to a head and decisions are made to get BU back to the fore and to get BFC in a positon where the debt is in control and starts getting repaid, without any significant risks being taken. Well done to all 4. It was a close call for all 3 places.

Things were going so well Shaggy until Banana started that thread which said you'd been caught dogging in the Leyton Road car park and have been seen attending the 'toilets of shame' at Cowey Sale to meet men with scotch egg in their beards over the summer period.
Just glad that Edmundo closed the thread before it did anymore damage.
Take it you saw the thread and wondered what your next step is to be?........Probably joining the Labour Party?

My next steps are... to wait for Ed to challenge the election, thus allowing me to sweep to a belated victory and continue my path to world domination! [evilmenacesmilie]

Good luck to all succesful candidates,sorry Shaggy did not make it this time but sure we will see him there in near future.I will look forward to regular updates in coming months.
