Emile Sinclair

Emile Sinclair

Have we ever had anyone else called Emile playing for us? :fishing:

Emile Sinclair

a mate at work who is a massive Forest fan reckons he's quality. Says that one of their strikers is off to the african nations cup in Jan so the feeling is that Forest will want him back after the month with some games behind him (and goals hopefully :o) :sorted:

Emile Sinclair

Panic signing :fishing:

Wuuhooooo  we've got a striker :owusu: :bound: we've got a striker :monkey: :shake:

This is nearly as good news as the ginger ninja getting the fleetwood this am

I presume that is Junior Agogo. Although I would expect with Forest being Forest, and if they carry on in the same vain in the League as they are, signing someone for money with a bit more experience to see them through to the end of the season. We shall see.

................heres hoping..................

Emile Sinclair

The earliest he has come on is the 83rd minute and I make it a total of 38 minutes in 6 appearances............Let's hope the beast is unleashed on Saturday.

Emile Sinclair

hes a top player plenty of pace and power...should know played against him a few years ago!! lol

Emile Sinclair

An unproven 19 year old rookie a few months out of the youth team is not quite what we need IMHO and probably not what TB had in mind but beggars can't be choosers and that appears to be where we are at nowadays.

Still I'd rather take a chance on someone like him than the disasters of the likes of Winegum/Onion baji/ Fat boy Ships etc like last season and I wish him well and hope this loan spell can let him realise some of his potential and give us some goals to boot.

I assume either Shakes or Ide will be bench warming for a while as a result.

Emile Sinclair

Kind of striker we needed in that he sounds fast and quite strong. Hope it pays off :)

I hope that, for different reasons, Shakes and Ide will be on the bench for a while!

With Dickson replacing Shakes on the left and Sinclair up front with Thorpe, we have enough mid-sized midfielders (© NB) to select 3 to play in a 4-4-2.

Ide would benefit from being an 'impact sub' but I fear that Shakes' only impact is to run into the corners, occasionally with the ball near his feet.

you're not still pretending you used to be a pro are you?

Emile Sinclair

Apparently was the star of pre-season for them

Emile Sinclair

Glad that at last a striker has been acquired. Since before we even kicked a ball in anger this season it has been obvious that we would not score sufficient goals. Only taken four months and countless disappointments for the management to realise it.

Emile Sinclair

Bet he's wondering what the hell he's got himself into...

Emile Sinclair

can't see anybody loaning BFC players after christmas. He'll be the last one !!

Emile Sinclair

.............Welcome to Brentford.....................

Emile Sinclair

Any idea what is happening with him? I've no idea whether he is any good, but what's the point signing him and not playing him? One start in a game where we lose a player after 2 minutes and lose 7-0 can't be the basis for judging a player, then approx 5 mins as a sub, then out of the 16.

Perhaps he's injured, but if not, our treatment of him, Hamer, Moore and (to a lesser extent) Pettigrew won't have clubs rushing to loan us players so that they can sit on our bench

Emile Sinclair

He might not have had much of an opportunity so far but from what i have seen of him i can't escape the similarities with Fola

Emile Sinclair

He's really not shown much so far has he :(

It's hard to know what he is like in and around the box because in his time on the pitch he hasn't been in the box very often but his all-round game is surprisingly, worryingly, poor for a player who has been making appearances for Forest.

Emile Sinclair

It's incredible. I had high hopes for the bloke. Vaguely remembered his goal that he scored for Forest from the TV and someone on the fringe of a set-up like that must have something going for them.

I know he was only on for a few minutes today but again his control doesnt inspire confidence and his general appetite for wanting the ball is not that of someone who seems to be too interested in doing a great deal when he's on the pitch.

A bloody freezing winters day in North Wales is far from ideal for a lot of people but he (and of course others) can't be choosy and he needs to impress otherwise he'll just end up like Tillen and surely that must be motivation enough

Emile Sinclair

I presume he's now gone back to Nottingham Forest as his one month is up?

If so, not a loan signing that will last long in the memory!!

Emile Sinclair

he was a just a stop gap/deadline move to show that TB was on the lookout for a forward, unfortunately the first choices refused/weren;t allowed to come to BFC. So Emile was here to make up the numbers.

Emile Sinclair

Remember the name. You'll need it for a TITS quiz question round about 2010.

Emile Sinclair

Because Bowditch went to Northampton, Rhodes didn't go out on loan and Butcher was left with plan C

Emile Sinclair

Any player who goes down on one knee praying whilst about to come on cannot be taken seriously. BISH 3:16:rolleyes:
