Eric Radley Smith

So sorry to hear the sad news of Eric Radley Smith's death. I think that the many years that he was associated with the club speak's for itself. A very sad loss for Brentford football club.

Eric Radley Smith

I think he died on Sunday aged 91.

R.I.P.

was once attacked by the good man himself in 92 for having the misfortune of me being p1ssed after taking advantage of a free bar courtesy of Bish winning a 'day out' with lifeline:eek:

i fell out of the stand and into some comfy looking seats in the directors box, assuming they were for us lucky winners;) , only for ERS to appear and lash out at me with his walking stick:eek: :nono:

was told in no uncertain terms that this was his seat and us 'prols' were further down in the normal seats - quite funny at the time...........;) rofl

I'm not that bothered about dying but one thing I cannot handle is the fact that Brentford will go on without me.
ERS RIP.

Another of 'the old Club' gone..

RIP.

What would the like of Eric White et al think of this tragic mess we've got ourselves into?

Thats why the Club is worth saving, for those of the future and those of the past..

Sad to see any Brentford supporter pass away! 65 years of support and most of those years were when the club were in decline. If I had a time machine I would choose to support the club from 1920 to 1942: lucky beestards! What went wrong with our club? Was it Hitler & the 2nd World War? Were the team cursed for saluting Hitler at a game in Germany in 1938?? Surely Brentford will see the glory days again???

RIP ERS :(

So that's why they were wearing black armbands last night, wondered why! I don't know if they annouced it prior to the game but I was a few mins late.

Saw him around on a few occasions. Great supporter of the club.

May he R.I.P. (May be he can swing things r way from above?!!)
