Should be a decent chance to get our first home league win since the first day. Richarlison suspended, Grey adding to their ridiculous injury list, chance to wind up Pickford.Sunday...2pm......You Reds...
Hopefully Pickford won't play and we can abuse Begovic.Should be a decent chance to get our first home league win since the first day. Richarlison suspended, Grey adding to their ridiculous injury list, chance to wind up Pickford.
He will probably be on the bench so dogs abuse from the Dug Out...Hopefully Pickford won't play and we can abuse Begovic.
If the crowd can get up for this and cheer the team on would be good!Massive game. Really really need a win
Richarlson suspended now
Why would they mention ours in a game featuring Man City and Everton. When another Everton player goes off injured?Demarai Gray went off injurred too.
Commentary saying how bad Evertons injury situation is - have they not seen ours?!

I’m pretty sure they have more ‘starters’ out than us… Raya, Ajer and that’s it isn’t it based on the first choice eleven at the start of the season (I realise it isn’t as simple as that because we have replacements of starters also injured and several of our most impactful subs injured but that isn’t how it will be viewed by neutrals)… could possibly add JDS to that but he hasn’t played any premier league minutes or any football at all for almost a year.Demarai Gray went off injurred too.

Yep. But of course the quality of the oppo etc doesn't matter. They are obviously just f***ed given the run of results. We have one point from last 5 so are certainties for relegation!4 defeats and 2 draws in their last 6.
Me too, we have players coming back, Ivan and Bryan created chaos for the first time in a few weeks up in Geordieland, mojo coming back, Everton on a low, off we go again.....for what it's worth.....I think we'll beat Everton.
They are not playing well though.Yep. But of course the quality of the oppo etc doesn't matter. They are obviously just f***ed given the run of results. We have one point from last 5 so are certainties for relegation!
How do you know if they are playing well just from the results? They are not playing well though.
Man. Utd A D1-1
West ham H L0-1
Watford. H L2-5
Wolverhampton A L1-2
Tottenham H D0-0
Man. City A L0-3.
We have to be at our best i know, but looking on the positive side here.
I have no problem if the pundits on MOTD2 next weekend bang on about how Everton's injury list contributed to their heavy defeat!Demarai Gray went off injurred too.
Commentary saying how bad Evertons injury situation is - have they not seen ours?!
We « suffer » from those pundits only knowing Toney from our squad, so don’t know anyone else, missing or not. Most other Premium League squads are known, so they know who’s missing.I have no problem if the pundits on MOTD2 next weekend bang on about how Everton's injury list contributed to their heavy defeat!
Watch the games? How do you know if they are playing well just from the results?
None of which are "just the results".Watch the games?
Listen to the radio commentary?
Read the reports?
Listen to the pundits?
Go with your own instinct?
Yes, but we have people coming back and finished our last game on a relative high. Everton by contrast got thumped 0-3 and appear despondent, with players absent through injury and suspension. That's not to say that a Brentford win is written in the stars but it definitely sets the odds on our side.A game between two sides with many injuries and on poor runs
It’ll be tactically interesting to see how TF approaches this. They have had even more significant injury losses than us but Benitez is a good manager. I think apart from the late collapse against Watford they haven’t been terrible, just lacking quality. But lacking quality at this level doesn’t mean their players are rubbish, just not as consistently strong as the top ones. They still have the ability to hurt us.Yes, but we have people coming back and finished our last game on a relative high. They were proper terrible against Wolves. First half was absolutely abject.I think apart from the late collapse against Watford they haven’t been terrible, just lacking quality.
Rondon?I’m not sure who they can play as CF with Richarlison suspended.
Yes you see the results, watch the game, read the reports, listen to the pundits, make your own assessment and hopefully get it right.None of which are "just the results".
Apology accepted.Yes you see the results, watch the game, read the reports, listen to the pundits, make your own assessment and hopefully get it right.
But not to hostile your be thrown out(...and a hostile atmosphere would really help!)
I'm not convinced there's a need to "carry" Roerslev. He's had little experience of the Premier League so far and wasn't even a regular in the Championship, so he's got a steep learning curve ahead of him. But I think he's got the talent to establish himself fairly rapidly if required to do so.there’s an extent to which we have to carry Goode or Roerslev as RCB.
I'd settle for an own-goal by an opposing defender and a clean sheet from our side.I fancy Toney and Mbeumo to score a brace each
The way our defence is the more goals we score the better as there is no guarantee we won't let in 3 or 4I'd settle for an own-goal by an opposing defender and a clean sheet from our side.

So's Mark Lawrenson.Biggest game of the season so far for me - get the win against a severely depleted Everton side and i think we get some confidence back. Couple more injured players back would be nice too... I'm going 2-0.
