Never mind being embarrassed over how many we took. Those that went made a terrific noise. Watching the video of the game there are plenty of moments when all you can hear is Bees singing. Given that we were outnumbered in the region of 50 to 1 - that is pretty impressive.

And they've only got one song!

Ed, any chance of bringing the video tonight?

I can understand not a lot wanting to go to a sh*thole like Millwall on a sh*tty Friday night through sh*tty traffic after a home game where someone had to be taken out with blood pouring from her head after being hit by a coin. I am certainly not going to criticise people who don't want to go, although I don't think talk of a protest was too good an idea. I went and (despite the result) thoroughly enjoyed the game. Glad to hear my croaky voice the next day at the rugby didn't go to waste for the Sky audience. THAT is the message we should be sending out - that it is great to watch the super Bees home and away. Otherwise we are falling into the Noades trap of saying we are sh*t publically and then people think we are sh*t!

this is an excellent thread. I remember the game well, me and e14bee were part of some corporate nosh going on, I infact was chosen (or did I choose !) to go down for kick off and present the sponsored match ball to both captains, I loved it, got the chance to shake hands on the pitch with me old school chum marc bircham ( ), and remember walking off and slapping big mark macammon on the back and saying something like 'score us a few tonight', unfortunately he didnt. Although my recolection of the game was that we played bl**dy well, and rightfully dobbo was given man of the match.

I am no hool and deffo not a hardnut but I have been to Millwall every time we played em in my time supporting Bees, Old Den and New. Its no different to going to somewhere with an aggro reputation oopp north, infact I'd say its easier as when you open your mouth on the way to/from the game it does not scream AWAY FAN to the local numbnuts

Not true! Was with some Millwall mates in a box & was selected to get the burgers at half time. As soon as I opened my mouth the guys behind knew I was Brentford but then proveeded to have a civilised chat about the game. (Lucky eh!!)

Be interesting to see what this season's attendence will be given its mid-week.

Millwall are just like West Ham, they always know if your not local. Having watched us play against those two in their ends, it normally ends up with a gentle tap on the shoulder and knowing wink lol

At times like that, thank **** for cider lol
