I agree.

Surely that could mean derby could have delayed their game until Tuesday if they haven't a league game and therefore if they've not drawn a club in Europe could have delayed it further until all their players are back. Or have I misread it?
All but about 2 or 3 round 3 games will have been played when this draw is done.

Surely they could make it simpler by drawing round 4 and saying round 5 is 1v2 3v4 etc.

What? Are Derby playing in Europe? Are clubs from Europe in the FA Cup? This is all going over my head!

Thought they said any team that would be playing against in round 4 that were in Europe, for example if they drew Liverpool it would have to be played immediately but if they drew Brentford it could be delayed.

That is correct

If you look at schedule there is no room for delayed matches if a club involved in UEFA matches on Feb 18th to play R 3 4 and 5 by then

But if the draw meant the R5 match had none of these clubs
Then R3 could be played on R4
R4 on R5 midweek

And R5 in a UEFA midweek later in Feb

All midweeks before the 10th are full with PL matches

Derby players would still be isolating this midweek so delaying three days was not an option

Would like a fairly decent draw and play the reserves again as a reward for getting pass Boro - another rest for the A squad and harmony for the fringe boys - Wolves would be nice

'Easy' club at home for both rounds please......chance for more minutes for our fringe players to keep them fresh/get them up to speed for the run in, before we draw a 'plum' QF game at home......

Crawley Cheltenham
Blackpool Plymouth Doncaster are through from clubs from lower than the Championship

Draws both on bbc tomorrow 7pm. Will only watch the round 4 draw at this juncture. Chorley or Man U at home please.

It is has been a good effort to make sure all games (bar one) have been played as scheduled

The EFL rules however are obviously open to abuse......

They are going to draw 16 balls out for Round 5 just numbered 1 to 16

It will be a separate draw done about 725 after the Round 4 draw at 710pm

As ever, we need one of the lowest possible ranked clubs at home and process to the next round... Crawley Town, Chorley or Cheltenham Town but not Chelsea, has a nice ring to it.

The first tie drawn out in the FA Cup 4th Round Draw will be Ball Number 1 in Round 5 draw etc etc

There will be a separate draw to pick the 16 Balls out randomly rather than say 1 play 2 , 3 plays 4

For the first time since meeting my Liverpool-supporting wife-to-be 19 years ago, I'm pleading for the Cup Draw Gods not to draw us against Liverpool until we're able to be there in person.

Really happy with that draw, I don't know why, but I think its a follow on from TH. I love the idea of testing ourselves against Premiership opposition, I really hope it drives the lads on to want to play them week in week out, its brilliant.
