Strange that the Hereford fans were put to the side and not behind the goal. Guess its for TV to make it look full. Believe they took 20,000ish.

It's the FA Vase Final. Hereford FC are too low in the pyramid to play in the FA Trophy, iirc.
Hereford lost 1-4 to Morpeth.

They have done well. Them and Morpeth at same level. Hereford have won promotion from Midland league to Southern League South and West I think

He left his two top scorers on bench and was slow bringing them on. Maybe he was trying to keep me out of shop window so he still got them for next season.

With the Vase and Trophy finals being on the same day, each club was more or less assigned a quarter of the ground.

I was at the game and found it extremely enjoyable. I was very impressed that teams at such a low level were playing football the "right way". I didn't see a single hoof. Most of the goals were very well worked and well finished.

I think the current Hereford is a new club - thought Hereford United that was in the league had folded?
