An attempt to distract from the depressing week we have just had.

Sonko for me - the Rowlands one was good until he royally p****d us all off and became one of our most hated ex players.

Mine is actually an old Peterborough one. "We love you Fergie, we do, but we still think your dad's a c***". I also rather liked a Chelsea one at Spurs a few years back. There was a big antisemitism drive going on at the time and there were warnings all around the ground and in the programme that any such chanting would lead to ground eviction or arrest. Prompting that old classic, "We can't say the Y word, we'll just call you c****".

The song for Danny Boxall was good, I loved the Robert Taylor song.
There was a chant for one of our goal keepers about the bold patch on his head , I think it was Andy Woodman? Anyway, it was a strange & bizarre song.

Others I remember from days of old...
Very briefly there was the "blame it on Barota" (blame it on the Boogie) after Peter Barota made an absolute howler in a League Group Cup (glorified pre-season friendlies)
Another keeper, Paddy Roche, had the very short "Roche Rumble" chant
and Alan Whitehead had the "He flies through the air with the greatest of ease" - I'm assuming this was sung with a large slice of irony.

On a slight tangent there was a good song about character fans to the Captain Sensible "tune" "I said captain"

I remember him being virtually stripped by invading fans at the end when he saved a pen last game of the season v Bournemouth I think though could be wrong there.

Can't recall the first bit but heard it during and after Blackpool away in first season back in Championship. Ended with , ' .....you got McCormack we got Odubayjo, Odubayjo'.
Was short, loud, obvious and a slight on Fulham trying to spend their way to success on a 'has been' player all in one.
