Att: 7,048, how many United then?
3200. Similar to our support at Brum.
I'm a bit more reluctant to celebrate. This is not a small organisation at work.

Their support and celebrations were outstanding. Non stop singing for 90 mins and a great noise and pitch invasion for first goal. Tremendous stuff.

In keeping with their cock ups from the other night, BBC are reporting it as Rochdale 3-2 FC Utd of Manchester.
Away fans looked liked thugs .

i always had the impression it was man utds 'lively' element who defected to fcum![]()
Would like them if they didnt have anything to do with United!
than I don't get them - full stop.
AFC Dons was formed because they were left without a club. FC United was formed by a comparatively small percentage of Man U fans (but still sizeable by number) who decided to take up a new hobby rather than fight the Glazers with the rest of the Man Utd fans. We fought W£bb and Noad£s - we didn't just go and form a new club.
Do they still watch Man U on Sky or MOTD and secretly cheer them on? Do they think that this new club is really better than watching Man U in the Champions League, just because they happen to not like the people in charge? Would have it been better if they had invested their time and efforts backing the good local clubs like Rochdale and Bury rather than adding further burden to their catchment area and knocking them out of cups?
At least unlike Milton Keynes they did start their club from scratch I suppose, but FC Utd are morethan
in my eyes.
To me, they are proper football fans.
Their financial impact on non-league football can only be positive surely? The fact that these people were so disillusioned that they were prepared to start at the grass roots of the games should be respected and applauded IMO. If they get into the football league, they will benefit every club they play and I'm not really sure what the problem is. To me, they are proper football fans.
if they get drawn away at old trafford in the third round, will any of their fans go as they all hate glazer etc so much they've had to set up a new team to avoid giving him their money?
Good game on friday. What song were they singing for ages? Aldershit sang it as well yesterday. Something about singing on their own?
An Inspiral Carpets song called 'This is How it Feels'.
Words changed to "This is how it feels to be FC, this is how it feels to be home, this is how it feels when you don't sell your a**e to a Gnome, a**e to a Gnome, A**e to a gnome"
l like that one but l think Aldershot were singing "we are the left side we are the left side of the town" and then the right side...........and then the middle............some thing conected to parking caravans i think.
According to their forum they were singing 'We are the left side, righrt side, middle of the pub'

Cheers. I youtubed FC and they have a few good songs.
"I am a Mancunian
I am an FC fan
I know what I want and I know how to get it, I wanna destroy Glazer and Sky...cause I wannna be an FC"
to the tune of Anarchy in the UK is class, there's footage of a friendly at Halifax where they've been singing it for 20 minutes, and it's doing the commentators heads in.
