So we have signed the full back from your good friends at Fulham.

I have only seen him play a couple of times (including when they somehow beat us 3-2 last season).

Any of you West London types know if we have ourselves a good deal here?

Better than Carragher, I reckon. Hard to really know how good he is until he plays in a quality team. Are you going to sign someone who might make watching Liverpool more entertaining? (No offence.)

I used to go to fulham a few times a season.... and i gotta say he is quality, but that was in the 1st division.....

no offence taken edmundo: it is certainly true that the "liverpool way" has not been followed over the last couple of seasons, though if you look at our actual shots on goal they are still in the top couple of teams for each season.

I don't think its just the personnel either: the first few games of last season we played great football, but got 2-2 draws after leading all games and Gerard Houllier OBE bottled it and went back to counter attacking stuff.

The two French kids who will come over next season, Pongelle and Le Tallec are supposed to be real quality, and I wouldn't mind betting that Duff finds himself in red next season- just hope that he is at Anfield and not the "theatre of wet dreams" once old whisky nose himself sells his beloved Beckham to raise (even more) cash.

I think he's a very good player. Comfortable on the ball and a decent defender. Will certainly be first choice and at a good price.

A good bit of business IMHO.
