Fire Drill

Was there a fire drill on 89 minutes? 1-0 down with 4 mins to play, surely we're better than that...

What a load of bull…….

Fire Drill

Nothing around my area in the South, my son had to rush off for a pee at the final whistle, though.

No issue with leaving on final whistle - but don't get why some go to all the trouble of going to the game and then deny themselves the opportunity to be there for some of the finest moments (Janelt in 97th minute anyone?).

It's still a source of wonderment to me why a very large number leave their seats at 40 minutes and don't return until 60;

Fear of missing out of an "included" bottle of beer???? Want to secure a seat when you are already sat in one? Just want to annoy the f***ed that sits in the aisle seat? Bloody bizarre if you ask me

Spoken like a man who doesn’t understand the importance of a round system and the responsibilities you have when it’s your round

There is no "round" system. The beers are all included. Was a bit bizarre to see some people guarding 7 beers on their table like they were rocking horse sh*t when plenty remained on the table when I sauntered up 10 mins in.

So very FOMO behaviour going on.

Sounds like poor people in a rich man’s world trying to justify the expense of their decisions to themselves

W-37

W937 - W942

6 arsenal fans in a row in front of me tonight. Laughing and joking about how they get their tickets. It was so Frustrating and completely ruined the match for me.
Surely we can stop this sort of thing.
6 of them IN A ROW

And how did they get their tickets?

West Stand was full until the end
The West Stand was virtually empty by the time the players and staff got there on the lap of appreciation. Great support that ???

I'm sure the original poster of this thread is on a wind up.

I'm becoming increasingly p1ssed off with people returning to their seats ten minutes into the second half, don't they know when the second half starts. From my fairly lowly position in the South stand with people constantly standing up to let them to their seats totally obscures the action on the pitch. Too much like rugby. I remember once at GP dilly dallying getting back into the Ealing road mainly due to the crush getting through the small entrance and we scored in the 46th minute, had to wait three days for the highlights on YouTube to see the goal.

No real fire drill before the end of the game, but I was surprised how sparse the West was for the lap of appreciation.

The boys put in an amazing shift, they deserved everyone staying behind like at the end of a win.

Stayed in the ground yesterday for the longest time for ages as it turns out. Cannot understand why people ever leave before the final whistle. Even if you're 4-0 down ....(unless there's a bus strike and you're at White Hart Lane watching two teams you don't really care about maybe).

One of the saddest things I've experienced this season (but not THE I will add) was chatting to a kid and his dad on the way up on the train to Old Trafford. A 10 yr old on a rare trip to see Man Utd with his dad already experiencing the trains being a nightmare and having to stand up all the way there.....a pain in the arse but we got there in time. On way back I bumped into them again, said something about how he must have had a great day out and well done........but they'd left early and I think the kid was really upset and his dad knew it. Didn't chat further.

Like the two kids (not even teenagers) sat at table for two in the Railway lounge at HT with two bottles of coca cola each and 10 pies! Clearly there on their own.

They must have had parents/carers there somewhere, although I do like the idea they pulled off the ultimate blag, snuck in to the ground, found their way in to hospitality and took full advantage (minus chap points for only having pop though) of some freebees.
