Fixture change required

Title deciding last home game of the season falls on the wife's birthday. Now although I am a devout teetotaller for the rest of the year, I always get totally rat-arsed on "last home game of the season" day. I don't usually make it home for at least 24 hours either.

So do I.....

a) Ditch the bitch
b) Ask the club to change the date
c) Carry on as usual

Or does anyone have any other suggestions?

It will be an outside performance, so bring a coat if its cold...

I carn't believe you've even considered all the alternatives on such a day, the one day of the year when it is so precious, such a joyous happy time, a time for sharing, being content with ones life, it's a time to reflect over the last twelve months and to look forward to the next. My answer to all this is to use b) because you know the club won't change the date but you will get an email you can show her confirming how you did try to get it altered. Then suggest to her that you will go to plan c) , but before offering that let her know how hard you tried to get the match altered and how you would hope she also agreed to move the day of going out to another day. Hopefully she will agree with you then, but if she doesn't, then use plan a) and ditch the bitch.Good luck, and will be interested to hear what happens! Incidentally, if all this falls apart, I do not accept any claims for bad advice.

We are talking here about our last home game - the game the following saturday at Huddersfield is the last game needing the same KO time as the games that day .....
