Fixtures 2013/14

My prediction:

Home to Wolves first up

Gillingham (A) boxing day

Swindon (H/A) Easter Monday

Peterborough (A) last game of the season

Fixtures 2013/14

One away game next season we should dress up as sleeping police men in honour of Ken and his retirement

Fixtures 2013/14

I want Oldham away first, last season it was quality
Boxing Day aways are never the same because trains are difficult so let's have a sell-out home game like Wolves
New years day I think trains run normally (???) so let's sell out Crawley away
Last game of the season we all want Peterborough away

The omens for Peterborough away final game wud be good but to open with wolves is a bit worrying ha ha

Fixtures 2013/14

I predict:

First day - Rotherham home
Boxing Day - Bristol City home
Last day - Sheffield Utd away

Fixtures 2013/14

I know I'm just going to end up looking at Doncaster's fixtures instead. :banghead: still in denial. :(

Fixtures 2013/14

I predict we will be playing forty six games over the course of the season, whatever conundrum and permutation it troughs up

Fixtures 2013/14

Defo. Peterborough away last game and promotion.

Fixtures 2013/14

................when is the play off final??????????..........

Relegated sides tend to start slowly and struggle to acclimatize to the rigors of a lower league before coming on strong later. So would be good to play them first

Fixtures 2013/14

First game of the season: Rotherham - Home
Boxing Day: Bristol City - Home
New Years Eve: Gillingham - Away
Last game of the season: Port Vale - Away

Fixtures 2013/14

Doesn't matter what order they come in, we'll take them all on.

COYB.

Pretty sure that if we start away, we will finish at home.

Fixtures 2013/14

I am hedging my bets.

Fixtures 2013/14

I would definitely take Wolves at home first game - signings need time to gel, been relegated twice in two seasons. Bring it on!

Fixtures 2013/14

Although generally true, it is on odd occasion that if you start at home (or away) you can finish also at home (or away)...

2010-2011 we were away to Carlisle first game and last game away to Huddersfield.

Fixtures 2013/14

Our one year in the 2nd tier, we were at home to Wolves first game. Wouldn't want the bad omens of that season this one.

And we lost one of our best players from the previous season 'cos he was out of contract!!

Fixtures 2013/14

oh yeah. Weren't we due to be away at Yeovil on Boxing Day that year as well? The computer certainly wasn't kind to us.

looking back at the fixtures we didn't play boxing day? Yeovil was away on Sat 8th Jan

Fixtures 2013/14

Just seen leaked opening day fixtures, Rotherham away apparently.

Fixtures 2013/14

Hopefully some decent away Saturday Fixtures. Most of the good ones last year were bloody tuesday nights.

How odd :sneakoff:

Hopefully but it does make sense playing local ones on Tuesdays for those who travel away. Nothing worse than a long hike up to Oldham on a Tuesday.

Fixtures 2013/14

The Football League is to mark the 125th anniversary of its first season (1888/89) with a programme of special anniversary league fixtures to be played on the opening weekend of the 2013/14 campaign. http://www.fl125.co.uk/anniversary-fixtures

Burnley vs Bolton & Derby vs Blackburn
Preston vs Wolves & Sheff Utd vs Notts County
Newport vs Accrington & Rochdale v Hartlepool

Fixtures 2013/14

So definitely not Preston, Wolves, Sheffield Utd or Notts County first day then.

And we lost our best player (Terry Evans) for most of the rest of the season due to a knee injury tackling Steve Bull.

I didn't want to tempt fate by mentioning that or that we also had Murray Jones up front!!

Fixtures 2013/14

Decent opener. New ground and everything though is it in the arse-end of nowhere? Should be looking at 700 or so Bees if it turns out to be the case.

I think Voice told me that it was a town centre ground, near pubs and worth a trip.
If this is the case, then double your figure:sorted:

10 minute walk from station max and loads of pubs in town centre that is near the ground.hope it is our first game as would expect 1500 bees.

Fixtures 2013/14

Centenary fixtures blow your first Saturday prediction Sean.....

Bordeaux Bees predict.....

Home v Gillingham first up,
Away v Wolves second,
Home v Bristol City third,
and Away v Peterborough fourth to put the relegated sides theory truly to the test and to hit the ground running......13 hours to go!

Fixtures 2013/14

Swindon home Boxing Day
Stevenage home final day

And just dawned on me all my local away games, Muff, Yeovil, Pompey are no more!!

Fixtures 2013/14

Top with 15 points by the end of August. :sorted:
