Floodlights!

If this club is trying to save money, can anyone rationalise why on earth the floodlights were on during all of yesterday's game?

Floodlights!

Funnily enough this was asked about at the club's AGM as one of the shareholders noticed that the lights were on and considered it to be a waste. Rogers (who was chairing the meeting) said he had noticed it too and asked Finch whether the referee had requested the floodlights on. Finch said no that it happened as that's the way it had always worked (or something along those lines). Finch said that he would investigate.

The question of the number of blown or non-working blubs also came up and Finch was working on these too with our new Operations and Safety Manager.

..yeah and they blinded Willock as he was about to score...................

I heard that the referee requested they be switched on before kick off yesterday... then 10 mins later the sun came out!

That tells you all you need to know about this bloke. :(

The lights were on to make it look like the sun is out.So PG can play ELOs 'Mr Blue Sky' once again.

Whilst someone is climbing up there to put some new bulbs in why can't they tie some balloons on top of the floodlight pylons with "Qatar Airlines" or whatever on the balloon.

That should be worth a few bob eh???

This Commercial Manager stuff is easy.......Jesus I understand now why Finch told us that replacing the Broncos money was "easily achievable". I should have moved into this racket years ago.

Who's gonna bid for a logo on the balloons.

So far I have 30p from a Mr L Signy of Farnham who wants

"Bee H is a w*anker"

on a balloon tied to the pylon at the corner of New Road and Ealing Road where it can be seen from the directors box.

I bid 40p plus the cost of materials for a sponsored gibbet from which can be hung (insert name of of erstwhile board member of leech-like employee of your choice).

Perhaps we could have a GriffinGold type lottery to choose those to be hung, with the winning lottery organiser getting a gibbet of his choice.

Moreover, as a service to felloe Bees fans, I shall bid for one for each pylon. My generosity (like my waistline) is boundless.

Floodlights!

Can I have mine in the shape of a flying pig with "It's in the bag" written on it?

This idea is worth millions. Any airline company would pay well over-the-odds to have barrage balloons interfering with rival airlines approaches into LHR. Plus, on a windy days and for a number of months thereafter, there's no way you'll be able to read the name of the sponsoring airline on the balloon from the M4 what with its being torn from it mooring or wrapped around the floodlight tower.

Excellent. Congratulations to you on your idea abee
