You are right but the fog is worse around low lying areas and water courses, here in Farnborough we are just outside the airfield perimeter road by the Balloon Hanger and you can't see the more than a couple of hundred yards, very wintry scene but hopefully in th town centres it will be clear.

Looking out my office window, carpark is foggy (By the Aldershot Swimming pools) so only a mile or so away from the ground eeeek
