Forest match reports
A good win and a very good away performance. We soaked up their pressure when it came - and rode our luck on a couple of occasions - and took our chances well. Brill vocals from the travelling Bees.

"There's going to be pressure on me next season but it's the sort of thing you have to deal with. World-class players have that pressure every time they play."
What a w*nker
I do hope he helps them get relegated again this season...
AB said:He might be a pint sized arse, but he is an excellent player- far and away their best man.

Edmundo said:Well fair point, but not exactly relevant to the match he's just seen as neither of our goals were the result of their defenders "playing the ball on the edge of their box," were they?
I did think it was odd that a player with 9 on his shirt was playing as a defender. Still, Megson must know what he's doing as he's a big name famous manager whose teams have won promotion to the Premiership, like that other success at our level, Danny Wilson!Jimbee said:Pehaps if he stops playing his strikers at centre back, he may have a chance.![]()

West Ealing Bee said:I thought it was a def pen from where I was, on half way line, not as close as you guys.
Seemed as if he found the gap and got brought down.
Mr Tree said:i don't even remember it at the time, but it looks a pen to me on t'replays...
Edmundo said:No idea where Megson gets the idea that his team hit the woodwork three times from - not exactly difficult to count to one, is it? :
Garybaldbee said:I'd be interested to see the replay then because virtually nobody bothered to appeal at the time...

West Ealing Bee said:I was appealing.

They may not be arrogant, but they are mistaken if they think that they got a point against us.saffrey said:seems not all forest fans are as arrogant as you might think - one of their fanzines, "Blooming Forest", described getting a point against Brentford as being a good result in their preview of the game.
