What a brilliant manager that MA is. If he was as good at picking a starting XI as he is at self-promotion then Peters would have been on the field an hour ago....

- Saved us from almost certain relegation

- Got us to the playoffs the following year

- Has us sitting at the top of the table so far this year.

Yep, you know better than MA Sweeps!!

The Forest commentators can not understand how they lost.

Forest v Bees updates

an incredible result achieved without all
of the senior players we signed in the summer.

Must agree, makes Beesworld worth it especially with a great win like this.

Excellent commentary - listened to the first half and last 20 minutes in the garden - obviously must be a lucky charm! Better dig out the thermals and wellies for the colder months. :D ;)

Forest v Bees updates

Commentary stated that Framps keeps scoring in front of the cameras. Are we the featured game on 'The Championship' tomorrow?

Forest v Bees updates

Grrrrr

Im listening to the Radio Nottingham post match analysis - "we bossed the game, played beautiful football.....how did we lose to a team like Brentford?"

Well ya did!

Okay, he's beyond criticism then. He's perfect, and makes no mistakes. :sorted:

I wonder how MA would have felt when reading some of the responses to the Pratley signing earlier this week - criticism I wouldn't participate in. Who got us 2 points today? It's money well spent if it keeps fans coming to the fixtures.

God knows how they're going to feel about losing to teams like Rochdale and Orient then...

No, but we can only have one manager of the team, not hundreds.

So he deserves our support for all the decisions he makes on team selection, not just the ones we agree with.

At the end of the day he is paid to bring us results, and he is doing better at that than any manager in a long long while.

For that he deserves our strongest support, not cheap gibes at "publicity seeking" just because he doesn't play your preferred team selection.

Going well but still doesn't say much for our forwards

Brooks , you are the most miserable negative **** that it has been my misfortune ever to encounter on this messageboard. Every week after, unlike you, actually going to the match, I check out the match update thread and, without fail you are there whinging about our inability to score more goals. Yes, you're referring to the team who are top of the league with the best goal difference.

Well, let me tell you that it was a great performance today by a group of players totally dedicated to Brentford FC, led by an inspirational manager who is already a Brentford legend. Today was just about as good as it gets.

On second thoughts, don't bother coming to GP. You'd just be one more moaning asshole.

Forest v Bees updates

I have a Forest supporting friend who would always condescendingly listen to me talk about Brentford for 5 minutes until the talk got back to 'real' football. A wonderful result.

Fantastic result today, infact its unbelievable.

I read the prematch comment of friday and was worried that we had enough players to field a team, let alone get a result.

As I write this, Scotland are one up against Italy and I can hear the crowd singing in the back ground...but I can assure you I am the happiest, proudest man in Glasgow at the moment because of the Bees result.

With huge smiles from Glasgow...Up the Bees

That's probably because you don't go to the games

Im not sure if your comment was directed to me Nottsbee, but I cant afford to go to Bees games as the cash will only stretch to feeding the kids.

I wish I could go to games, but I simply dont have the dosh

Still doesnt stop me from being evangelical regarding the Bees at every opportunity up here.

To all those that can attend, may my spirit always be with you at the games because my heart definately is.

Not you mate - see my correspondence with 'brooks'.

Bang on Idaho, the jobs a thankless task at the best of times.MA will make mistakes, but what I like about him he quickly learnes from them. People seem to forget the pantomimes we were treated to under the Wally Clowns regime. Good on yer Martin.

Arrrrrrrrgh! Can we not have this!

This is the second time this week that some idiot has seen fit to suggest to another Brentford supporter to "take their support elsewhere".

Find an alternative argument - telling someone to stick their support up their arse is not constructive.

Fantastic result today. Let's stop the Victor Meldrewing now and wallow in our own excellence. If it helps, I'll even admit I was far to OTT with my pop at MA - Idaho Bee referencing Wally Downes put that into perspective. :D
