I would of rather had Hamilton's crew today than Vettel's or Alonso's. Awful strategy. Sometimes I wonder if im a genius or if they are just completely stupid as some of the strategy is bleeding obvious.

I think "Salford" came into some pennies a while ago and has bribed the McLaren staff looking after Buttons car. Making the wrong tweak here and there to make the car unstable.

The first decent race at Valenica. Vettel, Grosjean and Hamilton were unlucky. Raikkonen looked to have got away with overtaking under yellows to me.

Great race. Safety car helped out Alonso but he done well after Vettel blew out. Hamilton & Maldonado incident didn't see that coming and bang Hamilton is out of the race.
What's going on with Button tho?
Good to see Di Resta get some points.
Great scenes at the end when Alonso stopped and celebrated with the stewards and fans. My favourite driver.

Not a bad race. Maclaren pit stops are still going pearshaped. Button looks to have lost his mojo and Maldonado is rapidly becoming an young Schumacher.

It was clear that Maldonado was in the wrong. He'd left the track and should have bailed out of the move. The race was old-fashioned in a sense that cars at the front were breaking down. Slight reminded or Hungary 2008. Heikki Kovallainen claimed the victory.

Sad news, very sad news. Serves as a good reminder how dangerous this sport is. The last two serious injuries (MdV and Massa) have come from blows to the head. I'm sure this will renew calls for some sort of bubble in the cockpit, but that's dangerous in different ways (fire) and impractical (Rain would completely ruin any visibility).

Anyway, back to topic (women in formula 1 :mad2: ) Silverstone don't want 20k fans coming today or maybe even tomorrow with this sh*tty weather. Sad this weather has possibly stopped people seeing one of Britain's sporting highlights of the year. Watch it on telly
Probably be a boring Vettel win. I hope Button or Hamilton can come through and win it though

I remember going to Silverstone in 2000 when the weather was doing things like this.
Race stayed dry but we had great fun watching people trying to get out of the car park.

Thought you were a Sports Reporter? The Lotus strategy made the race mildly interesting. Surely Lotus will deliver us an 8th different winner before the season is out?
How woeful Mercedes are performing at the moment?! The track didn't suit yesterday, but Brawn must be tearing his hair out! Thought Rosberg was on for greater things this season, but he doesn't appear to get the maximum out of his car unlike Schumi.....but 1 point this weekend for a suposedly 4th best Constructor's Team is a disaster!

Grosjean at fault. What a plank!! Hamilton couldn't do anything and feel for Alonso. Jenson way out of trouble, thankfully, but Maldonado is one of the worse/dangerous F1 drivers ever. If it wasn't for the Venezuelan oil company sponsoring him, he wouldn't get a seat in any F1 car. Come on Mr Button!

Agree with all that. Thankfully Alonso was all right as that looked looked nasty. We've seen the pay driver make some amateur errors (even crashing his car in a show run in Venezuela). Jumping the start is criminal, but it can happen - Alonso did it a while back.
Yuji Ide was far worse.
Big shame for the Sauber drivers as well. Kobayashi and Perez continue to impress. Perez might be a 'pay driver' but is also part of Ferrari's young driver programme and has shown his talent consistently. Both of them could win races/challenge for titles in their career.
Onwards to Monza. Promises to be a cracker with Alonso and Hamilton looking for a turn in fortunes. Hopefully it'll be a hot race. None of that weather in Friday practice please.

Hamilton went where he shouldn't, tweets team mates secret information, generally an idiot. As soon as he was all upset from choosing a different wing this accident was bound to happen. He should be banned for a few GPs.
