So, when Jo comes back against Oldham we'll have a relative embarrassment of riches that potentially could play up front - Shipp, Jo, Ide and Taylor. Oh and not forgetting Pillock of course :fishing:

What does everyone think Fitz will do ??

Ide and Jo to play wide maybe with Shipp and Taylor up front ?

Taylor to the bench and return Jo to play with Shipp ??

Or after Shipp's performance this week - 'rest' the big man ??

Seems we know what we'll get this weekend - but it sure will be interesting to see what happens thereafter.

Also what about Keith - a return to wide midfield or slot in at left back and drop Tillen.

So many questions...................

With the exception of Kuffour, I'm not sure I'd use "riches" about any of our forwards... though Shipperley has had good games

Between them, Willock, Moore, Wijnhard, Onibuje, Shipperley and taylor have started about 43 games - for a total of 4 goals between them (I know 3 of those have left, but wanted to show just how ineffective we have been)

Hence my comment "relative embarrassment of riches" - no doubt in my mind that Shipperley and Taylor are light years ahead on talent and record than the 4 less talented gents listed above. Neither could be construed as top class by any means, but at least they might be deemed to belong in this division, unlike their predecessors. :)

Chris Moore has more goals than Shipperley and Taylor put together this season.

Shipperley 8 games 0 goals
Taylor 20-ish games 2 goals
Moore 10 starts 4 goals

Taylors record for the bees; 1 game no goals. Give him a break.

Its a no brainer, Jo is the only player who can actaully score so he plays up front with Shipps and Taylor (if he is still with us) competing for the target man position. Ide sticks to the right wing. Willock can stay warming the bench where he seems most comfortable.

NEVER EVER put your leading goalscorer on the wing.
Especially to accomadate Scott Taylor or Willock or anyone for that matter.

This happened earlier in the season then JK was put upfront and scored 4 goals in 3 games i think.
Chelsea to put Drogba on the left this Saturday ?
Arsenal to put Henry on the right ?
Liverpool to put Kuyt in the middle ?

Its b***ocks really, why change it and why change it if it wont benefit ?
