what was wrong with Framps yesterday. From about 35 minutes into the game his hand was over his chest. Was it his shoulder or something?

I'm assuming that you didn't post to have the p*ss taken out of you and everyone else is just being mean!

Framps had a bad clash towards the end of the first half and it appeared that he would be going off - it looked at first like an elbow injury, but then seemed to be shoulder or collar bone. We sort of assumed that he would not appear for the second half, but he did. Whether this was macho pride / stupidity or guts, I hesitate to say, but he did play the whole of the second half, as you say, looking like he had hurt his collar bone. At one point he seemed to be berated by the ref. for not taking a throw in and pointed out rather aggressively to the ref that he COULDN'T actually take a throw in.

With Frampton we were told to take him off at half time by the doctor but I didn’t want him to come off and he stayed with it. No, he definitely didn’t want to come off. We don’t know what the injury is but I think he’ll need to go for an x-ray on his shoulder.

I spoke to Framps as he left the ground yesterday and he told me he would go for a scan on Monday to see what the damage was and if it was connected to an old injury (???) looked at first like he had dislocated his collar bone and although you can pop them back in it "fu@*ing hurts like hell" that quote is from me and I emphasise the fu@*ing!!
He was asked if he wanted to come off he said NO he wanted to stay on and show some fight and desire. Fitz was happy with that but I doubt whether Darius was too pleased. It could end up being a costly mistake!!

not sure it will keep him out for more than two weeks if that so PVFC and CUFC at worst. It is one of those injuries that some people are receptible to and it can re occur which is a sh@t in itself. painful but as Framps proved on sat you can play through the pain. Not ideal but it can be done!

If Charlie Ide WAS concussed he will definately not be allowed to play on Saturday. I am led to believe it is a League ruling with head injuries that a player takes at least 7 - 10 days off
