Freeman Retires

Darren Freeman, who played for us in our Championship season has had to retire after battling with a hernia problem for the last two seasons. Darren was never the most talented player but gave his all in all situations and his unusual style was fun to watch. Always a bit of a showman but a really nice guy who deserved to do well. Darren collected three Third Division Championshop medals with Fulham, Brentford and Brighton.

Maybe Brighton and Brentford should play a testimonial for Darren as he can only be 27/28. I hope all goes well for Darren in whatever he decided to persue.

Yeah, best wishes from me as well. We loved him at Fulham when he did his bit in helping us secure promotion under Micky Adams.
