Unfortunately I think they will comfortably survive. They have 2 goal scorers in Mitrovich and Schurrle.

They'll finish above West Ham, Udders, Brighton, Burnley and Cardiff at least.

As with all Bees fans, laughing at and encouraging misfortune and failure on Fulham is great. But I want it all to be comedic idiocy that relegates them rather than their normal play as their style is not dissimilar to ours and I don’t want us to be doomed if we go up.

Sadly they have spent well on real quality so no chance they’ll go down this season.

Fulham thread

Why would we want them to go down and deny ourselves the pleasure of playing them next season?

Bump!!! :bound: lol rofl
Assuming Baadiff and 'Udders are going, could they be involved in the scrap to avoid the last relegation place??..............

Surely spending 100 mill and getting relegated would be a bad thing?

Cardiff away after the break

Sounds all right to me.

Seriously though I think they made too many signings and disrupted the nucleus of a good side and a winning formula. When Bournemouth went up they spent a bid but really just tinkered with the squad that had got them promoted, Fulham have replaced half the team.

Fulham thread

They'll beat enough bad teams to stay up.

unfortunately they will...Cardiff and Huddersfield are virtually down already and that just leaves Newcastle, burnley Southampton and Fulham to scrap over the last place imho and Fulham are better than those 3.....tis a shame the first 2 are soooooo bad or Fulham would have been in trouble ;)

Only problem i see with Fulham is that they only play one way and as you see from the Arsenal game i think they will take a hiding or three this season which can really dent confidence.

Yes, they're all worse, but some will scrap & scrape points along the way. I'm not sure Fulscum have that in them, & GD could be a factor if they continue to ship goals, drain confidence etc.
- After all Arse only beat us 3 - 1!

My wife asked me tonight why I put on MOTD2 - then she saw the game was F@lham v Arse and laughed. I only watched the Arse goals then stopped.

Mate I will delighted to be proved wrong and to see them end up without another point this season!

Absolutely true but it's not that long ago that everyone was saying Southampton's was a model that BFC should be following. They seem to have lost their way after those massive transfers 2 or 3 years ago. Appointing Sparky was a mistake too.

And that was against our reserves - mostly.

They sacked the bloke that got them to 8th and into Europe. Absolutely crazy mismanagement.

I watched them on Sunday and they were absolutely hopeless. There's a very real chance of a Pompey v Saints Derby in the championship, next season.

I suspect Fulham will survive, if only because there are three teams which are worse - Cardiff/Hudds/Toon, maybe Soton or Brighton?

If so, then they've really got to sort things out this season, since the real challenge is likely to come the following season, when the above teams are replaced by better ones from the Championship - Leeds/WBA/Boro/Derby or (ahem) Bees?

They’re building flats on The Cottage.

That Southampton was under the Liebherr ownership, now they have new owners they are regressing.

Only consolation about today is that Fulham lost to Cardiff and in the bottom three. Let's hope they stay there ...

Spoke to a female FFC fan this evening (in her late 30s?) who said how much they (many FFC fans) hate the premier league and would rather be in the championship.

Looks like their players agree with them.

That seems to be the way to go about it.

Get promoted bag the £'s get relegated, take the parachute payments, then get promoted again.

Repeat.

Don't forget the £100m spent by Fulham. I wonder how much they'll actually make this season.

Actually shocked how badly they are playing against Huddersfield. I thought they were decent going forward and weak at the back but they've been awful everywhere. Surely they can't keep Jokanavic.

They’ve got promoted, spent £105m and gone backwards.
