This is getting boring !!! The boy is an excellent player but personally don't think he is half as good as some of the pundits would claim. Had a brilliant last season yet it was only a couple of seasons ago that Spurs were trying to off load him

If he repeated last seasons efforts then would concede that he is one of Europe's top players but at present I don't think he warrants a world record transfer

But so many other transfers seem to hang on this, at least if he goes now we can have some moves across the board. Conversely Levy could confirm to Madrid it's going to happen but tell them it will be at 11.59 on the last day, thus stitching up every other club!!!!

I believe Levy has said that their summer target such as Willian are all independent of selling Bale. They are assembling a strong squad, though I am still miffed why they sold Caulker.
I may have to re-assess my smug pre-season assumption that they would finish 5th again.
