I'm over 50 and still waiting to be discovered. I have just enough enthusiasm to overcome a total lack of ability.

He played in a veterans masters team which was on Euro sport recently, representing England with Tony Woodcock and Paul Mariner also playing. The keeper got injured in the first game and Blissett went in goal for the rest of the tournament, which England lost in the final. I believe he was voted man of the tournament for his goalkeeping performances!!

Remember thet he got us in the news -Phil Holder- time when he used his elbow to fracture the cheek bone of a Torquay player going for a high ball. I think it was case NOT PROVEN at the time.

He looks too wierd without his trademark moustache. I saw that tournament on Eurosport but i'm pretty sure it was 6-9 months ago?

Blissett actually smashed john uzzells face to smitherines with his elbow. It was our promotion season I think.
i saw the replay at least 50 times and blisset never saw the bloke coming it was a total accident. He did however jump with his elbow up!

uzzel tried to sue but it was thrown out!

The bit about the debts is probably an urban myth!!

Didn't Gordon Taylor act as a defence witness for Blissett in court and said something to the effect that 'you see 50 challenges of that nature in every game'.

It was actually Graham Kelly. Probably the only decent thing this guy ever said or did on behalf of the Bees.
