Gary "gaspin" Roberts has been awarded a testimonial match by Cambridge City after 10 years as manager of the club.

Cambridge City will play Spurs at Histon FC (where City now groundshare) on Wednesday 7th August. It would be great to show our support for Gary and I know he'd love to see Bees fans there. :sorted:

Ten years as a manager is a fine achievement.
Newport 6-0 probably in my top 5 Bees games.

Hope he gets a good crowd.

Always welcome at GP as far as I'm concerned. Roberts was one of my favourites when I started regularly attending in the early 80's.

Gary has organised a charity golf day (for McMillan) on Friday 22 September. Would anyone be able/interested in putting together a team of 4 for this? (I'm not a golfer but will be sponsoring a hole - as are the Beesotted boys)

It's £180 for a team of 4 at the Cambridge Meridian Golf Club. Breakfast/lunch and shotgun start (hope that makes sense - hello Ken). "Very good value with lots of banter and celebs"
