Wasn't it Mahon with the sloppy back pass in Cardiff against port vale in ldv that lead them to go 2-1 up?

No, he was dawdling on the ball and someone nipped in behind him and stole it and scored..just another Wembley defeat..no biggie.

He was a classy player who got aggro from the crowd as he always looked so laid back and drifted around. Huge dreadlocks back then. He had a great pass on him and some silky skills but never seemed to get enthused about much. When he moved to CB he was absolute quality and quickly became one of our better players although he still played in the middle from time to time.
