Some geezer that got released by Windsor & Eton at the end of last season. He must have a very good agent to get him a trial at Leeds last week.

He was binned by Yeading last campaign as well.

I saw him play a few times for Staines, probably a couple of season ago.

He was ok but nothing special, quite speedy but didn't appear to offer anymore than that, I can think of 3 or 4 other Staines strikers past/present that are better.
On a slightly different matter but linked to Staines they had a striker called Jamie Guy on loan from Colchester last season who is excellent as is the midfielder Robbie King, both very highly thought of at Colchester. With the step up in league and a change of management at Colchester, circumstances may have changed and these two may be worth looking at now...

To be honest, don't see anyone on trial or who we are supposed to be looking at that fills me with confidence for the season. I'd love to be proved wrong, but with our financial position, we will just have to hope that LR can get the best out of what's available in our price bracket, ie Free's and Youth.
