Gayle

[LostBee]

Deserves his own thread for being absolutely superb to day,so strong, calm and assured.

Well done Marcus and long may it continue.

Agree

His best game in his comeback for the Bees?

Nice to see a player so obviously playing for fun and for a club that he clearly loves.

Very impressed with him today, just like the Marcus of old.... keep it up

[Willo]

2 very good games in a row for Gayle

My sentiments exactly.

Great to see him running at people and taking them on.

His best game in his comeback for the Bees?

Last week he was awesome, today he was merely magnificent.

I just wish he had the legs to still be going on Wednesday

[Boston Bee]

Hopefully he'll take Lloyd aside and explain that you can go back and be a hero again. Marcus was and is a Bee!

I think that he's probably one of the most important members of the squad. He may not play more than 20 games in the season - and probably won't last the full 90 minutes in many of those - but he gives us so many extra options; at left back, centre half, left midfield and up front - and he seems to be getting sharper too.

[Willo]

He's come along way since the debacle at Cheltenham when quite frankly I wanted to shoot him.

Improved understanding with Tillen enabled them both to shine yesterday, although it did help that Forbes ended up @ RB following the sending off!

[nocoat]

He rolled back the years in some style

[Brentford_till_die]

i think full credit should go to Junior Lewis best game in a bees shirt yesterday !!!

[Ronan]

Did anyone else hear him say to Sam Tillen 'Just do it' about taking the throw in, as the last one Sam Tillen took too long, and he gave it away as a result. Twas very funny, in a thick accent 'Just do it'.

[Nigel Brooks]

An outstanding perfomance.

Thank you Marcus.

i just know he's gonna curl one of his legendary free kicks into the top corner one day very soon.

[nocoat]

Gayles curlers were the envy of the whole league back in the day

Hmmm, yes. I know I'd relish the chance to see Marcus curl one out again.
