In fairness the wicket was a road today and not entertaining when teams are reaching 280 plus in a T20.

England do though have a bit of a dilemma - with Key, McCullum and Stokes all targeting pace for the next ashes. With Mark Wood already out of the India test series and injury prone that really leave just Archer who I can’t remember when he last played four/ five day cricket. Personally would have not allowed Archer to have played the IPL if he wants to play red ball cricket again. Going forward can see Archer just being a franchise bowler.

I personally think it will be a massive mistake to take Wood and Archer to play in the Ashes, Wood just cannot sustain fitness no shock considering how fast he bowls and Archer is much the same, can't have them breaking down mid test and then being unavailable for the rest of the series.

Think a lot of people would agree but it’s not what they want or think but what Stokes, Key and co have been focused on together with a spinner who recently was tonked in Australia during the England A tour.

Yeah could argue it was a freaky lucky innings he could have gotten out during that century, he isn't great against pace so I've heard so its like I mentioned i've been many a Pakistani have a blistering start to their career and then vanish.

I’d disagree with that having seen him bowl against the Aussies at Lords at back end of Sunmer. He was unplayable just ask Marnus Labuschange as need fractured his forearm

He doesn't deliver consistently - look at his IPL stats so far, 2 terrible innings and then a good one yesterday. Add that to his ODI form this year and he shouldn't be in the side unless Wood is not playing.

To be honest Livingstone should be nowhere near the 50 over team any more - can't remember the last match winning innings he played (or any significant innings really).

Definitely think the Women's team should be led by a women and she's the obvious choice.

It was boring. More like watching baseball than cricket. Getting very disillusioned with T20 now. Think I'm right in saying that he hit 3 6s in one over but the furthest was 70 metres. A 70 metre ball in the air should be a catch.

This is absolutely incredible - a 14 year old getting chosen at auction is mind blowing but he had just scored the 2nd fastest IPL century ever and one of the fastest of all time in T20s ?
