Gillingham updates

Bugger. You all right?

Coco + pete_the_bee, yeah thanks, I'm all right. But there's so much trouble ahead, a school war between our school and some violent, mug-happy school down the road, because for reasons there's no need to say on here, everything has been stirred up. Think A View from the Bridge, think justice, loyalty, revenge and taking the law into the civilian hands. This is what is happening as of tomorrow, and I've got the day off to recouperate on police instructions :(

Looks like I'll be mashing up the person above you thread tomorrow then, and I can finally get that haircut :sorted:

PMA Bees, don't throw this away now, not on my ****ing mood, please

Not sure what options he has, Peters perhaps, Isiah seems to have drifted back to his old ways, Willock unproven, Gayle?? maybe.
On paper we seem to have a good solid team problem is when it comes to grass it is not quite the same!!!!!

Gillingham updates

No team has taken this division by the scruff of the neck. These last two games were our chance to make a break for the automatic spots. Now we'll have to sweat it out with the others. I think it'll go right to the wire.

Maybe Sodje's loyal refusal to move on 31st Jan was a bit dressed up. His last 3 or 4 performances were those of a man whose heart is no longer in it. Didnt go tonight - obviously - but that's how it sounded tonight too.

Sam stayed because Southampton wouldn't pay the wages he wanted. End of.

So you won't be wading in for revenge tomorrow then? Hope you're alright, enjoy a whole day of GPG. Think of it as a form of work experience, experience of what I do all day at work. :D

Just for once I hope Allen's Wednesday update tells it like it is. I can't stand any more homespun wisdom.

Agree. You can afford the showboating - mental as well as physical - when you are on top and winning. Now more than ever before - dont forget MA was in a win-win situ this time 2 years ago - its time for the man to show if he can do it. No more fancy-dan TV appearances and smart aleck comments. Now is the time to prove all my horrible pikey mates wrong when they said all along that this would happen. How i hope they were wrong....

Bit too highbrow for me mate.

I won't be doing the wading... But there are homies, family, brother's mates, mates mates, brother's girlfriend's brother, and his mates and, and, and :mad2:

Look forward to seeing all the GPG geeks out to play tomorrow :fishing:

Bum Holes!

Least I can borrow Holby City from Mark Chapman on LP Betamax.

And Colchester only drew.

And Matt scored.

Pointless looking for individual fall-guys tonight really. I think we all know what will happen in the summer and we all suspect what will happen between now and the end of the season.

In the maentime back to his season, two straight defaets leave us with a lot of work to so and a really good oportunity to give ourselves a bit of breating space watsted. Saturday and next Tuesday now look massive

We'll be replacing some average Div 1 players with Champ material and we'll be storming through to take promotion at Bournemouth. :sorted:

How much?

Assuming you won't take the wife, how about £50?

50 -50 split with Bees United and you're on. Are we betting on promotion or just automatic?

I said we would be in this division next season, I stand by that and I'll (happily) make the cheque out to anyone you like if I lose.

Well, it all looks like it's going tits up doesnt it? Wheels are coming off, MA having a tactical haemorrage last Friday in the 2nd half losing us the game and Sodje both Fri and tonight giving away goals. Thought this was always going to be a much tougher game than most though especially after their thrashing on sat, however to throw the game away like we did tonight is just not good enough..

Worst thing is, MA will prob react by bringing Hutch and Gayle in on Sat and going long-ball again.... :(

On top of that, there's no way Brum are staying up, we'll never get that extra money for DJ, once they're down he wont play any more games in the Premiership and we can kiss goodbye to the bonuses that made it a good deal and not a Forster deal...

Well ****ed off tonight..

Gillingham updates

 Lets hope that we have used up our share of bad luck for the season during these last 2 games...now to go unbeaten until the end of the season...YOU REDS...

Let's see now. We are holding down an automatic promotion spot with a game in hand. We play almost exclusively lower half teams in the run in. We lost a couple of away matches by a single goal in games where we were in it to the end.

So what do we do? We throw in the towel!!! It's the end of the world! The sky is falling!!

COME ON YOU BEES!!!!!

Gillingham updates

Having got back you can see my views on the match reports but best summed by lack of effort, skill, attitude. Newman should never be alowed on a pitch again. the rest of them should put their bonuses from the cup run towards paying the fans back for this abysmal effort tonight.
