Gillingham

Still aint got them

Tried to call them but they close at 4pm!

I am not paying another £20 to get in... GRRRRR

Im in a similar position Nada. Some dickhead in the ticket office cant count properly and failed to send the right number of tickets, they also failed to send us tickets for seats next to each other so if reserved seating is enforced we will be sat individually.

Anyway - i phoned the ticket office yesterday and the forgotten tickets should arrive today. If they do not then i have been advised to call the ticket office and they will arrange for duplicates to be put on the turnstile at Gills (i though they would need to be collected from the Gills ticket office but oh well).

Perhaps you will need to do the same if yours dont arrive today.

... On that completely open temporary stand which has been there for donkeys years. However it is large enough for everyone to put their umbrella up without
affecting the view of other fans - providing its not allocated seating!

Whats all this nonsense about allocated seating ? Just move to another seat

Do they allow brollies to be taken into the ground?

You would imagine and hope that we can sit where we like - but you never know what stunt the nazis (i think their official name is stewards) will pull.

Is it Gills or Brighton (at the Withdean) that used to give out those humans sized condoms for people to wear to keep dry. Either way im not wearing one!

Last time I visted Priestfield was Brighton away on a boxing day, this was before Priestfield was 'tarted up' but can still remember how horrible the away end was & it pissed down all day...remember
going to the jacks to download some brownware only to discover that there was no roof :-(

Gillingham

Advance tickets all been sent back so £20 on the gate it is or maybe not if it rains for some folks.

Gillingham

The forecast aint that bad....be a real shame if people dont attend becuase of a bit of rain....that would be very Fulham.

some of our fans are so pathetic that a bit of rain WOULD put them off......proper faggotry stuff :(

will be well over a thousand there anyway and no-one scared of getting wet.....the drips can stay home ;) lol

Gillingham

I am going to make a call about this game tomorrow, if rain looks likely then I shall give it a swerve.

Gillingham

Going to have to give this a miss now and with rain expected don't fancy sitting down with dripping wet hair all game.

I know what you're saying, I only have my summer wardrode on the go presently, I have absolutely nothing to wear that might withstand the elements.

Gillingham

Going to meet my mate John at the station as I am coming from Faversham. Will wear my Faversham Town FC waterproof top - I hope I don't get thrown out from the away end!!!!!

I'm considering a nice turquoise shell suit and a cap to keep off the rain and allow me to move freely among their chav spotters without blowing my cover

Three of us getting the 12:22 from Victoria so if anyone wants to be the fourth person in the GroupSave give me a shout.

Hi all,

Gills fan here with some hopefully helpful information!

The nearest pub to Priestfield and recommended for the away fans is the Livingstone Arms.

Pub has football shirts etc on the walls/ceiling and used to do free food (don't know whether they still do!)

Southern Belle pub is OK but not brilliant, directly opposite the railway station.

As mentioned elsewhere the Will Adams is probably the best pub in Gillingham.

Avoid the Cricketers in Sturdee Avenue as this is the main "home" pub.

There are much better pubs to be found in Rochester (2 stops before Gillingham on the train, or follow signs to Historic Rochester from the M2)

There is no street parking available near the ground (residents only) but you can park in the streets about 10/15 mins walk from the ground.

Other parking facilities are the Railway Street car park (Use the council one not the station car park as it's far cheaper!)

There is another pay and display car park off Balmoral Road (if you can negotiate the one way system to get there!)

Gillingham can be reached by train from Victoria, St Pancras International (these take about the same time, less than 1 hour) or from Charing Cross, Waterloo East or London Bridge (these trains are a lot slower taking about 1 hour and 15 mins)

When leaving the station turn immediately left and keep walking until the floodlights come into view, cross the road and you'll find the away turnstiles are at the end of Priestfield Road (no through road)

To get to the Livingstone Arms, instead of going into Priestfield Road, just turn right and the pub is about 150 yards on your left.

I'm led to believe that seating in the temporary (been there 10 years now!) Brian Moore Stand will be unreserved but with our stewards you never know!

The majority of Gills fans are friendly but very passionate about their team but like most teams we still have some idiots!

We've not had a good start to the season, losing 1-0 to Colchester in the last minute at home and being beaten 4-0 away at Wolves last week (could/should have been more!)

Plus losing 2-0 at home to Bristol City in the League Cup means we've yet to score a goal!

Let's hope it's a good game and best of luck for the rest of the season.

(BTW Gillingham does have some nice areas, but nowhere near the town centre!)

Can I take my brolly ? i remember mk mongs at their old ground stopping people taking them in , wondered if these divs might stop us too. have been before but was in a side stand.

Gillingham

Still no ticket, and no reply to my email.

I do not have the time to call the ticket office, i work from 7-4 virtually solidly.

If it doesnt come tomorrow, BFC can go **** themselves.

I ordered it last Thursday, they didnt post it til Tuesday, this could all of been avoided.

Very poor Brentford. Waste of £32 then.

You didn't have the time to call the ticket office but you have time to post on the GPG all day.

Your order will be available from collection from Gillingham's Ticket Office from 1.30pm Saturday.

Can you forward all the recent emails you sent to the Ticket Office to [email protected] and I will investigate on your behalf.
