Bought it yesterday, quite expensive considering how short it was!!!

Have to say we looked bloody good first half of season with some well worked goals and some crackers too!!
Some of the movement from lloyd and scott p were really good, I think we forgot how good they could be after the second half of season!!

I thought the vid was again absolutely shocking this year. The commentary was at least an improvement on the last two or three but they're still poor. The bloke doesn't sound like he's at the games but reading from a script and we don't get to see any highlights, literally just the goals.

Is it just me or does any one agree? There's no way I'd pay £16 for that unless I had to. Be honest, how many other videos do you buy for that amount? And if you do (which I know I haven't) I bet they were a lot longer. What happened to the really good quality goals of the season vids we had at the start of the 90's?

I was going to start a thread on this but never got around to it. I thought it was awful, the commentary was poor and it was difficult to tell when one game changed to another, on the commentary anyway. There are a few games missing, 3 or 4 I think.
I got it as a present but if I had bought it I would have taken it back.
Time to change company I think.

On a different point some of the action from the early part of the season was a joy to watch.
I suppose it was worth buying for Evans' goals alone

Mark, this commentary is atrotious. It would be better to have no commentary and at least have the man tell you when the game changes. It is continous prose with hardly a pause for breath.

Isnt it recored on a blank VHS tape like what you can buy down at Dixons and then they make a sticker to slap on the front.

Come on £2.50 a video tape - 5p a Sticker
Ile give them a blank tape for them to copy for half price

What someone should do is video (especially if 1 person has a S-VHS recorder) all the Nationwide progs off ITV or Sky Sports Sunday morning show. Then 2 people link up their video players to edit only the bits you want. Then you have a nice DIY copy ... Don't sell it, and you get round the law ...

I know this as I'm having this done with my wedding video taken by a relative.

that commentator just screams out when the opposing teams score. poor quality I'd say. Is there a video for the 1994/95 season?

It is hard to make bricks without straw as much of the action after November was unwatchable but the commentary was awful (they should bring back Greville Waterman from a few years back - now he WAS good) and it seems that the club just did the minimum necessary to just get something out for Xmas.

i'd do it, and for free

what, it could only take say a whole day at the most to record, and at least i'd be able to show a little passion

What amazes me is that the Football League have not struck a deal with an professional editing company to make these videos for of all the clubs, thus cutting out a lot of middle men.....

seriously, i would do it!!

Greville got too excited and started squeeking too much so I had to put the volume down anyway.I would commentate on it but I swear too much, even when I watch the video!!
