Good Luck

[Holkerbird]

As a Barrow AFC fan I would like to say well done on gaining promotion and to wish the club and supporters all the best in the coming season.
I am sure you will hold your own against the opposition and do yourselves proud.
Best wishes and ENJOY. I will be following your progress. Who knows we may meet again in the F.A.Cup this season (with the same outcome if we do

Please accept my apologies for posting on the wrong section as I didn't realise you had segregation on the forum. Us little minnows in non league have open forums.
Anyway all the best in the coming season.

No we are one of the few in this league who aren't in financial difficulties as we own our ground (unlike some who are in hock to some crooked business men who then hold them to ransom), and are trying to manage within our means.

Did you know your club presented a beautiful silver platter to ours following the F.A.Cup fixture which was a very nice gesture from League to Non League. Made quite a few friends up here through that.

I hope the season goes well for you.

Cheers Holkerbird, the silver platter was a nice touch, thanks for the best wishes. Hope all goes well for you guys next season. i was one of the few hundred bees that went to your last home game in the league, It was a night match, bees won3-0

That's going back some time then. Seems a life time since we were in the league, however I enjoy our travels---12,500 miles last season. 8 hours to Eastbourne about 2 1/2 hours there and then 8 hours back. Ha, ha. Happy days. Mind you that's a trek for you up to Carlisle--they are nearly in Scotland.

We also presented you with the opening goal. For what it's worth I enjoyed the Barrow experience in the way that only a horrible journey and a rubbish performance can be enjoyed. Nice friendly bunch of people, cheap beer in a decent clubhouse, shame the game had to start and ruin it all. Might see some of you at Hayes & Yeading this season if the fixtures pan out.

Good luck for next season, especially when you face Loo Town.
