I should add that if (as has been posted) Mr Graham Hall has been tasked with or involved in the internal enquiry then he has already declared that he feels that nothing serious happened and that there should be no resignations.

It would be nice to know whether or not he voted negative on the "Should John Mac resign poll" under his GBee user name and if he did then this alone disqualifies him from having any involvement in the "inquiry".

But of course we can direct these questions to Hall after he brings in his "not guilty" verdict...........

A perfect choice is Mr Hall..........

As you say, Lord Hutton - sorry, Graham Hall - seems the perfect choice for an internal inqury. Hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil...
I think an EGM is the only way of introducing him to the real world.

it's official folks, everyone keeps their jobs - including LIAR(S) !

This rather reinforces the message, I was hoping to get across last week. Media wise. administrative failings pail in significance compared to the positive publicity engendered by this cup campaign or the rising star of Martin Allen at Brentford.

I hope you will at least agree that to title a thread 'our club is now a public joke' seems to be more a case of venting frustration than any real assessment of the clubs public profile.

I don't want to belabour the issue, it just suprised me to see such a reaction coming from a cool head like yours - even though a rush of blood to the head was understandable in the circumstances.

Re the Club's profile Joe, telling blatant lies and getting someone like Rupert Lowe (with his position and stature in the game) involved isn't doing this Club any b1oody good at all, in fact our name must stink in footie circles - what planet are you on ?

Typical cover up, this Club is still run by Noades - he must be laughing his balls off at the incompetence shown by BFC off the pitch recently and Waddington's probably rubbing his hands together in glee using an old line from the A-Team "I love it when a plan comes together !"

Joe, blatant lies have been told and fans have been treated like sh1t and I am very disappointed at you taking the 'cover it up' line.

The supporters trust is a fairly simple concept. The members elect people to the BU board. The BU board makes representations to the club board on behalf of members.

If members want change then that is what will happen.

We are probably going off at a tangent here by discussing the clubs public profile, finances and the Altonwood option.

I think the most pressing issues are customer service and why the reasonable expectations of supporters have not been met.

The decision to not take up the full allocation at Southampton in light of the financial guarantees required and the failure to sell out our away allocation at previous cup ties is understandable. The decision to not offer priority booking on the reduced allocation is not. The tickets were on sale or return and there was no financial penalty whether we sold them out in the five days or not.

These decisions are the direct responsibility of the executive directors, pure and simple. There is no suggestion of any club staff acting without authority or not informing directors.

Regarding the dispute with Southampton, I can't see how there can be a cover up when it is plain for all to see. Southampton have posted their rebbutal on their web-site and the FA have contradicted our claims. As the spokesperson for the Hampshire Police said "neither club has played a blinder here", (although we did when it mattered in the game).

We do need clear answers to how and why these events happened and more importantly what resources are needed to ensure that they are not repeated.

To my mind, looking for scapegoats is the easy way out and does not necessarily deal with the underlying causes of recurring deficiencies in delivery of customer service at the club.

The BU board has a responsibility here too, to bring pressure on it's BFC board representatives to deal appropriately with these issues and to respond to the legitimate needs of BU members. I am confident the BU board will bring such pressure in a well considered manner.

Heard an interesting text msg being read out on Talksport Radio this morning. The msg was from an Arsenal fan who was disgusted that they had fielded a side not containing a single British player. He had decided that he was going to go back to supporting the team he had followed as a lad - you got it, The Bees. This decision must have been aided by all of the publicity we have in the cup run. Has anyone else heard of fans pledging to come back to GP?

funny you don't mention the four BFC statements that were deleted from our official site when they were found to be "inaccurate" (not impressed with Hall's attempted spin thus far ).

a person or persons made mistakes and in no way for the first time either, those in authority have led such a charmed life with support from virtually everywhere but God help them if they ever went back out working in the real world where people are accountable for their work/actions !

hopefully BU won't bottle it when it comes to dealing with those who have made cock-up after cock-up and downright lied to the fans - but I won't hold my breath

People who have previously supported JMc throughout looked visibly shaken, pale and drawn on Saturday at having been let down and the ticket allocation and lies were the talk of the fans pre-match on Saturday - yet you don't seem to have been affected at all ! :scratch:

yep .I heard that too as I drove my 6 year old to school .He asked " why have you just shouted dad ? " I said I was cheering because the man was talking about Brentford " He paused and then asked " who dyou like best ,England or Brentford ? " He didnt follow my logic when I answered ! I expect in 25 to 30 years time he may be driving his son to school and the radios on .................
